Homeopathic Definition.

The Vaxa line of supplements contain a wide variety of homeopathic ingredients. The following is a brief homeopathic definition.

The word Homeopathy is derived from the Greek words "homeo", meaning similar, and "pathos," meaning suffering or disease. Homeopathy is a system of medical therapeutics for treating people on the basis of "like cures like."

Similar in concept to that of vaccination, homeopathic treatment involves the use of very small doses of substances given to cure symptoms, when the same substances given at higher or more concentrated doses would actually cause those symptoms. The idea here is to stimulate the body's own healing and defense mechanisms and processes so as to prevent or treat illness.

Homeopathic ingredients, also known as micro-nutritionals, are organic compounds derived from natural substances that come from plants, minerals, or animals that are essential in minute amounts to the growth and health of an animal.

Although a homeopathic ingredient begins as one substance, they are scientifically diluted and succussed such that generally not even a molecule of the original substrate or medicine is present in the final homeopathic product.

Since homeopathic preparations are very diluted mixtures of natural substances, they are safe and without side effects. Homeopathic remedies are not known to interfere with conventional drugs. However, you should discuss this with your health care provider, as you would when taking any supplement or alternative treatment. Homeopathic preparations are FDA-regulated as over-the-counter medications.

It should be noted that some patients report feeling worse for a brief period of time after starting homeopathic remedies. Homeopaths interpret this as the body temporarily stimulating symptoms while it makes an effort to restore health.

We believe in the body's ability to heal itself when given the proper nutrition. The highly specific formulas were developed around that logic to offer solutions for many of life's health challenges.

Since 1987, Växa has formulated the most powerful homeopathic medicinals available. We combine the proven power of homeopathy, along with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbal medicine to give you the best natural alternatives to address a variety of health concerns. This combination makes Växa’s products much more powerful than any simple nutritional supplement.
