Attend, Extress and Memorin Testimonials

My son is almost 12 years old. He has been using Attend and Extress for over 3 years now. I can't express how happy I am with these products.

He used to be Dexedrine. He lost a lot of weight, he had no appetite, his teacher wanted me to take him off the drug as "he looked like a zombie". The Dexedrine caused depression, so he was prescribed an anti-depressant. This anti-depressant was not recommended for children. The pharmacist asked me if I was sure I wanted to give this to my child. I was at my wits end. The psychiatrist said no, the anti-depressant was fine. Well it caused more symptoms, so another anti-depressant was prescribed.

Well enough was enough. I asked the psychiatrist was non prescription/non drug remedies. Diet, vitamins, exercise, homeopathy, anything.

I was told "my way or the highway". I choose the highway.

With a naturopathic doctor, I weaned my son off the drugs. My son was already taking Attends and Extress.

It took 18 months before he started gaining weight. So don't believe the doctors that these cocaine-like drugs "flush out of the system within 4 hours". If this is true, why can't you stop taking the drugs cold-turkey? Why did it take 18 months before my son started gaining weight?

My son will be 12 years old in August. He weighs 110 pounds and he is 61 inches tall. He is happy, no depression any more, doesn't look like a zombie, and doing OK in school. He wasn't do any better in school when he was on Dexedrine.

He is a normal, exuberant boy with a zest for living. Twenty years ago he would have been called a normal child. Today he is labeled ADHD.

There are many things that you can do to help your child in today's society:

a. Give them Attend and Extress.

Watch their diet. Too many chemicals in our food are increasing ADHD symptoms. The really bad ones:
_ Sugar, don't believe that sugar intake is not an issue
_ Colour dyes. The biggies are Yellow, Red, and Blue. Toothpaste, cough syrup, pills, kids cereals, sodas all have dyes to make them better looking to children. You can get dye free toothpaste and cough syrup now. Just be aware.
_ Chemicals. When purchasing anything, read the ingredients. If you can't pronounce it, don't buy. These include: Chips, candies, cereals, sodas, fast food, etc. Be vigilant. This is hard, I know. I have been hearing about this forever: but my friends eat/drink that, what can I eat then, etc. Be strong. Your child WILL NOT thank you, but you will thank yourself.

b. Remove from the diet all forms of refined sugar and any products that contain it. Also eliminate all foods that contain artificial colours, flavorings, or preservatives; processed and manufactured foods; and foods that contain salicylates

c. Do not use antacid tablets, cough drops, perfume, throat lozenges, or commercial toothpaste. Use a natural toothpaste from a health food store instead Avoid carbonated beverages, which contain large amounts of phosphates. Phosphate additives may be responsible for hyperkinesis (exaggerated muscle activity), High levels of phosphorus and very low calcium and magnesium levels (which can be revealed through a hair analysis) can indicate a potential for hyperactivity and seizures. Meat and fat also are high in phosphorus.

d. Exercise. At least half an hour every day. This doesn't include any exercise they get in school. Register them for a sport : soccer, basketball, swimming, etc. This will get rid of the excess energy they hoard.

e. Try Yoga Breathing exercises. There is a study being done in one of the states. Yoga before school, yoga before class starts, yoga to calm down students. This is working.

Read, Google, anything to keep up to date on various remedies, studies being done, success stories. I found a study done over 4 years in one of the bigger school districts in New York. Every year, this school district removed something some the school vending machines and lunch food. f. Have your child tested for allergies. You might have to go to a naturopathic doctor to get the ELIZA allergy test done. My son was allergic to milk and wheat.

g. Do an elimination diet to see what foods trigger symptoms.

Through out the years, the one constant has been Jeannine, Attend, Extress. There are no words to express my feelings about the effect Attend and Extress has made in my son's and my families life. The difference is like night and day. I hope the above will help you and your family out.

Regards,
Rajinder-Kaur, Surrey, Canada
