First and foremost, you have the ultimate say in your child's health care. If you do not want your child to be on Strattera, then don't put him on Strattera. If your doctor is unwilling to allow you a say in your child's health care decisions, you need to find a new doctor. I don't like Strattera. It's too new and has been tested on too few children. We have no idea of the long term affects until it's been around for a while. And, just because Strattera is a non-stimulant doesn't mean it's any better for your child. The side effects of Strattera are very similar to the side effects of other ADHD medications. I know a number of doctors in my area that will not precribe Strattera just yet. If you are happy with Adderall and it works well for your child, Adderall is what you should stick with. If it ain't broken...
