Classic ADHD: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Classic ADHD is the most common form of Attention Deficit Disorder. The majority of this type of Attention Deficit Disorder type are males (think Dennis the Menace). Classic ADHD is often identified early in life, mostly because the hyperactivity, restlessness and impulsivity is hard to miss. These are the type that are high energy and seem driven by a motor. They talk a lot and they move a lot. They can’t sit still and are perpetually in trouble for one thing or another. This Attention Deficit Disorder type will not do things to intentionally upset others. They just do not think before acting. Upsetting people and getting into trouble is simply the end result of their impulsivity.

Although this is your “Garden Variety” Attention Deficit Disorder, the degree of severity can be mild (a person who chatters constantly and fidgets around) to severe (bouncing off the walls).

Classic ADHD characteristics:
_ Primary ADD symptoms (attentional problems, distractibility, disorganization, and impulsivity).
_ High energy/Hyperactive/Constant motion.
_ Easily distracted.
_ Disorganized.
_ Restless.
_ Has trouble waiting in line or waiting for his turn.
_ Fidgety.
_ Impulsive.
_ Can't sit still very long.
_ Talkative.

If you fit into this subtype of Attention Deficit Disorder, you will want to use Attend, Extress and Memorin.

Attend addresses the primary Attention Deficit Disorder symptoms. Extress relieves the symptoms of hyperactivity, impulsivity and restlessness. Memorin increase focus and concentration. These three formulas together form a powerful strategy for the Classic ADHD type.

Treatment Strategy for Classic ADHD:
Attend: 2 capsules twice daily.
Extress: 2 capsules twice daily.
Memorin: 1 capsule twice daily.

Dr. Amen outlines nutritional supplements that can have a positive effect on this type of Attention Deficit Disorder. These are L-tyrosine to increase dopamine production, OPC grape seed or pine bark and gingko biloba.

It is important to note that the Attend formula contains these three elements in addition to GABA, DL-Phenylalyne, Pycnogenol, 5-HTP, pregnenolone, DMAE and more. Among other ingredients, the Extress formula contains GABA, DL-PA, 5-HTP, and St. John's Wort. Memorin contains amino acids, B vitamins, ginko biloba, Phosphatidyl Serine and other phosphatidyls, pregnenolone. and more.

As with all types of Attention Deficit Disorder, a nutritional eating plan and exercise regime are also important aspects of the treatment plan. Exercise is especially important for burning up the excess energy that this type always has.
