This natural shampoo removes impurities & build-up from hair.

to 1 tsp.)
1/2 tsp. Table salt
1 Tbsp. Dried thyme
1 Tbsp. Dried peppermint
1 Tbsp. Dried lavender
1 Tbsp. Witch hazel
1 Tbsp. Almond oil
7 drops Cinnamon oil

To Make This Clarifying Shampoo:
In a heavy saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the dried thyme,
peppermint and lavender. Remove the pan from the heat and let steep for 30
minutes. Strain the herbs from the water and pour the herbal infused water in a
ceramic bowl. Add the shampoo concentrate and stir until well mixed. Add salt,
witch hazel, almond oil, cinnamon oil and ylang-ylang oil to the mixture
stirring until thick. Bottle and close.

This recipe also makes a perfect gift. Your friends and family will
appreciate the gift of a relaxing and unique bath and body product. That
this gift came from the heart and your hands makes them even more special.
Packaging and presentation play a predominant role in the gift-giving of
your handmade soaps, shampoos and lotions. Below are several packaging ideas,
but don’t let this brief list limit your creativity!
Here's a quick, inexpensive
and easy packaging idea: Removing labels off empty glass jars. Relish jars,
olive jars and baby food jars all work well. Spray paint the lids with a granite
spray. Shampoos packaged in a cobalt bottle or a brushed aluminum bottle always
present well. Or, place your clarifying natural shampoo in decorative bottles.
For an added touch, write the recipe on a little card and tie the recipe onto
the bottle with ribbon or raffia.
