Snow White Skin Moisturizer - A Skin Moisturizer Recipe.
Cleanse your skin with the synergy of these natural ingredients, well
known for their moisturizing properties.
2 Tbsp. apricot kernel oil (or almond oil)
1/4 cup walnut oil (or grape seed oil)
1/4 cup stearic acid powder
1/2 tsp. aloe vera gel
1 cup water (or rosewater)
1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
To Make This Skin Moisturizer Recipe:
Combine the oils and stearic acid powder in a heat-resistant container. Combine
baking soda, aloe vera gel, and water in another heat-resistant container. Heat
oil mixture in a water bath until mixture is a clear liquid and all the stearic
acid powder is melted. Heat water mixture until just boiling. Slowly add 1/3 of
water mixture to the oil mixture and stir. The combination will foam slightly as
carbon dioxide is released. Pour into a blender and stir. Add rest of water
mixture in a slow, steady stream and blend on high. The mixture will be a white
fluffy cream. Spoon the cream into a container and allow to cool completely.
Massage a small amount of cream on your face and neck.
This skin moisturizer is an incredibly rich and nourishing cream that
absorbs well and does not leave a filmy residue. This recipe makes a great regenerative cream for treating specific problem areas
of the face and skin.
Creams and lotions are made by combining
oil-based, which provide nourishing properties, and water-based ingredients
to moisturize the skin. Creams and lotions are the only skin care
applications that moisturize and nourish at the same time.
It is easy to make an affordable, skin nourishing and pampering bath and body
product. Feel free to substitute or add other essential oils to personalize your
skin moisturizer recipe. The recipe can be left without fragrance
or essential oils can be added for therapeutic benefit.
Here's a quick, inexpensive and easy
packaging idea; Removing labels off empty glass jars. Relish jars, olive
jars and baby food jars all work well. Spray paint the lids with a granite
spray. Hand lotion recipes packaged in a cobalt bottle or a brushed aluminum bottle
always present well. Or, place your skin moisturizer recipe in
decorative bottles. For an added touch, write the recipe on a little card
and tie the recipe onto the bottle with ribbon or raffia.
