Salmon Patt is a canned salmon rice recipe
that combines canned salmon and rice for perfect salmon patties.
This recipe is a great way to add essential fatty acids to the
diet.
Canned Salmon
Rice Recipe
2 cans red salmon
1 cup cooked rice
1 clove garlic, minced
2 large eggs
4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. olive oil
Flake salmon into bowl gently. Discard any bones, cartilage or
skin. Set aside. Combine garlic, eggs, cheese, cream, and
worcestershire sauce together in another bowl. Fold this
combination of ingredients into salmon. Fold in cooked rice. Put
the remaining cup onto a dinner plate. Shape the mixture into 8
patties. Loosely cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Melt the oil
and butter in a 10" nonstick skillet on medium heat. Cook
patties 4 at a time for 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing them
slightly with a spatula. Add more butter or oil to the skillet
if necessary. Place on paper towels to drain/dry. Mix mayonnaise
and Dijon mustard for dipping.
