Granola
4 cups rolled oats (not instant)
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
Mix oats, almonds, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon.
In a saucepan warm oil, honey and vanilla. Pour this
mixture over the oat mixture and stir until blended.
Spread the granola mix on a 15x10x1 baking pan and bake 40
minutes at 300 degrees, stirring every 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, cool and mix in raisins. Store
granola in an airtight container.
